Faith

Pastor Paul believes that it is time for us to revisit the foundational truths about faith and take a look once again at what faith is. Let us consider the possibility that there are things about faith that we have not fully seen yet.

In the midst of open doors and shakings, we are on the verge of the possibility of some major breakthroughs for the Kingdom of God; it is not going to happen without faith because without faith it is impossible to please God.

Week 1: Faith is Always Enlarged Through Adversity

  • “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” (Hebrews 11:1)

  • Faith, promise, and perseverance in the midst of adversity. (Psalm 4:1, AMP)

  • Faith and healing through Jesus' presence. (Mark 5:25-31)

  • Faith, hope, and love based on biblical promises.

PRAYER POINTS:

  • We were created to please God, pray for us to acquire faith to please Him

  • Pray that we grow our faith so that the eyes of our understanding are enlightened

  • Pray to stand under faith so that our faith can enlarge through adversities and challenges

  • God, teach us to rest, believe, and surrender to You in our journey of faith

  • God is interested in building our faith, more than finding the solution, so pray to learn to trust in God

  • Pray to find faith and healing in Jesus’ presence

  • Pray that faith, hope, and love are built strong in us

Week 2: The Journey of Faith

  • Abraham's faith and its implications. (See Abraham’s life in Genesis)

  • Faith and obedience. (Hebrews 11:8-10)

  • Faith and perfection through mistakes.

  • Trusting God's promises despite uncertainty.

  • Faith without work is dead. (James 2:20)

PRAYER POINTS:

  • Pray that our faith grows during our journey in Christ

  • Pray to be like Abraham, going where God tells us

  • Pray to be obedient to God no matter what

  • Pray that our faith gets perfected even through mistakes that we make in life

  • Pray to take hold of the promises of God no matter how ambiguous it is

  • Pray to build your trust in God

Week 3: Faith and the Power of God's Promise

  • God's promises are designed to produce hope and perseverance in us, not just immediate fulfillment. (Hebrews 11:1)

  • Faith is not just a formula, it is not just a feeling

  • Faith is the byproduct of communion with the Father of love, through the grace of the Lord Jesus, by the power of the same Spirit that raised Him from the dead.

  • How do you deal with the “not yet” of God’s promises?

PRAYER POINTS:

  • Pray to produce hope and perseverance as we put our faith in God’s promises

  • Faith is a byproduct of intimacy with Jesus, not a formula, so pray to build our relationship in Him

  • Pray to know God and to know his character, so that peace can guide our way

  • Pray to hold on to God’s promises and be tenacious, persistent, and unrelenting

Week 4: Faith is the Courage to Endure in Spite of All Odds

  • Faith and perseverance through the life of Moses. (Hebrews 11:23-26)

  • Faith, adversity, and possibility. (Exodus 1:22, 2:1-7)

  • Hope is the evidence of things not seen.

  • Faith, prophecy, and spiritual growth.

  • Faith in daily life: without faith it is impossible to please God.

PRAYER POINTS:

  • Pray for the kind of faith that produces courage and prepares us for the things ahead

  • Pray to endure and glory in all sufferings to produce perseverance, and perseverance, character, and character, hope (Romans 5:3-4)

  • Pray to have hope since it is the evidence of things not seen

  • Pray for faith to arise so that we take action and grow in it in our daily lives

  • Pray that Holy Spirit helps us to fight the good fight of faith

\Let us all grow in our faith in God!
