Victorious Living

Living victoriously can only be achieved by dedicating our life to Jesus. He has the power to heal and overcome past traumas, empower us to forgive, and break free from shame. Every person has a divine assignment from God, we need to prioritize God’s kingdom and understand the importance of obedience in ministry.

We need to speak positively and firmly, using God's Word as a tool for change. It is mandatory to have a personal relationship with Jesus and understand His character, as revealed in the Bible.

In order for us to experience victorious living we need to understand the importance of creating an atmosphere for victory through God's presence. By faith, take control of surroundings and changing moods, with a focus on prayer and spiritual warfare as a means of divine intervention, and overcoming adversity. We need to operate differently in the end times.

Week 1: You Were Not Created to Fail

  • Knowing to live by design, not by default. Stop making and giving excuses. (Jeremiah 1:4-8)

  • Every person has an assignment from God, which gives them value and purpose. David, after he had served God’s will and purpose and counsel in his own generation, fell asleep. (Acts 13:36, AMP)

  • God's assignments for individuals, families, churches, and nations are part of His overall plan.

  • God brings people out of difficult situations and strips them of everything, preparing them for a new day. Elijah was fed by a raven and was taught to depend on God. (1 Kings 17:4-6)

  • Elijah, faced challenges from Jezebel and Ahab, but God spoke to him in a still small voice. (1 Kings 19:12)

PRAYER POINTS:

  • Pray for God to heal you from past hurts. Ask Jesus to restore your mind, soul, and body back to the blue print of when He first created you.

  • Pray for Jesus to give you the strength and obedience to demolish every argument in your mind that set itself against the knowledge of God (e.g. fear, doubt, anger, insecurity, etc.) and bring them all into the obedience of Christ. (2 Corinthians 10:5)

  • Pray for an alignment of your life with the will of God. Pray for His will to be revealed in your life. Pray that everything that hinders you from accomplishing His purpose in your life be revealed; ask for strength, courage, grace, and guidance to overcome all the obstacles so that you can live a purposeful life.

  • If you are in the middle of challenges, pray for Holy Spirit to guide you through. Ask Jesus to ordain your steps and give you strategies to overcome those challenges. Pray that the joy of the Lord will always be your strength.

  • Pray to live a purpose-driven life! “The enemy is not interested in killing you if you are in Christ. He is not after your dying, he is after your living.” –Pastor Paul Tan

Week 2: Shout of Victory!

  • Recognize different sounds: sound of the Lord (Genesis 3:8), sounds of victory, defeat, or singing (Exodus 32:18), sound of the trumpet (Joshua 6:5), sound of abundance (1 Kings 18:41), sound of gentle stillness and a still small voice (1 Kings 19:12)

  • If God is on your side, HE will back you up. (Romans 8:31)

  • Moods and atmosphere can be influenced by climate and location. Control moods and the atmosphere through faith in God.

  • Be encouraged to lift your hands up in prayer, declaring victory over sickness and the securing the defeat of the enemy.

  • Sing praises to God for healing and protection during difficult times.

PRAYER POINTS:

  • Pray for Holy Spirit to show you how to overcome challenges by declaring God’s Word over your circumstances.

  • When the atmosphere around you feels heavy, ask Holy Spirit what you can do to lighten the mood. Pray in tongues whenever you are able, and see how the atmosphere changes.

  • Learn to praise Jesus no matter what circumstances you are in. When you do not feel like praising Him, learn to push through. The heavier you feel, the more you need to push through.

Week 3: Victory Through Faith and Speaking God’s Words with Power

  • The power of God’s Word and its manifestation in life.

  • Jesus healed the sick and cast out demons by a word. (Matthew 8:8, 16)

  • Faith can change the atmosphere during difficult times.

  • Weather affects moods and mentalities, but faith can take control of the atmosphere. (Matthew 14:22-31)

  • Take control of the atmosphere through faith and your words. (Proverbs 18:21)

  • The importance of speaking God’s Words with authority and power. (Hebrews 1:3)

PRAYER POINTS:

  • Pray for Holy Spirit to reveal to you the authority you have in Christ. Ask Jesus to give you confidence and that you are a co-heir with Christ. Through Christ, you have the authority to bind and loose things in the heavenlies. (Matthew 18:18-20)

  • When you have challenges, find prayer partners and pray over and pray through your circumstances together. (Matthew 18:19-20)

  • The Word of God is the Sword of the Spirit. The more you use it, the sharper you are. Pray for Holy Spirit to reveal the Rhema Word fit for the circumstances you are in. Declare those Rhema Words over your circumstances. Learn to declare those words with faith like little children.

Week 4: Victory Through Spiritual Warfare

  • For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds. (2 Corinthians 10:4)

  • Satan targets weak believers, wounding them rather than killing them. (Daniel 7:25)

  • Understanding the signs of the times and radical change needed to be planted in God’s Word. (Matthew 16:2-3, 24:24)

  • Believing in fresh revelations will increase knowledge and assignments from Heaven for the church. (Revelation 4:1)

  • Overcome fear and doubt through humility, prayer, fasting, and obedience. (2 Chronicles 20:1-30)

PRAYER POINTS:

  • Pray for revelation, whether you are currently in a spiritual warfare situation or not. Pray for strategy, wisdom, and perseverance to win the battle. Ask Holy Spirit to reveal where Jesus is in this battle.

  • Is there any worry, anxiety, fear, doubt, or any ungodly beliefs in your mind? All of these are signs of spiritual warfare. Use your Sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God to overcome the battles in your mind. What does the Word of God say about worry and anxiety (Matthew 6:25-34) or doubts (Proverbs 3:5-8)? Find the Scriptures for your situation and declare them over your circumstances.

  • Have you had encounter with people who makes you upset, frustrated, angry, or annoyed? Did you let them get to you? This could be another symptom of spiritual warfare (Proverbs 4:23).

  • Is there anyone that you need to forgive, but you felt it is impossible forgive? This is also a sign of spiritual warfare as forgiveness is one of the foundations of Christ’s teaching (Eph 4:32, Mark 11:25).
