Life Talk: Faith & Gender Identity - General session

General Audiences + Leadership
Session for Parents: 1:30 - 2:30pm

LIFE TALK: Faith & Gender Identity is a live event that aims to provide leaders and church members alike with the necessary tools to navigate the intricate issues surrounding gender identity and sexuality in a compassionate, respectful, and biblically grounded manner. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in thought-provoking discussions and gain valuable insights from knowledgeable speakers who specialize in this topic.

The main session, scheduled for Saturday morning, welcomes a diverse audience as it delves into the subject of gender identity within the context of the Christian faith. Attendees will hear live testimonies from pastors who have experienced a transformation in their own journeys away from LGBTQ identities. The session will foster compassion for those who struggle, explore the perspectives of both the Bible and science on LGBTQ topics, and provide practical guidance for supporting and ministering to individuals grappling with their identity. All leaders are strongly encouraged to attend this session.

Lastly, a third session has been added on Saturday afternoon specifically dedicated to equipping parents, grandparents, and anyone who wants to know how to raise gender-confident children, how to protect their children from gender dysphoria exposure, and providing resources on how to love and support family members who identify as LGBTQ.
